The Hon. Mark Butler MP, Federal Minister for Health and Aged Care officially opens asbestos-research laboratory in the name of Biaggio Signorelli 


In a momentous tribute to the late Biaggio Signorelli, whose life was tragically cut short by Mesothelioma. The Hon, Mark Butler MP, Minister for Health and Aged Care proudly announced the naming of an Asbestos and Dust Diseases Research Institute laboratory in Biaggio Signorelli's honour. 

This initiative marks the 15th anniversary of Biaggio Signorelli's passing and celebrates the incredible work carried out by the Foundation to raise awareness, support prevention, treatment, and ultimately find a cure for asbestos-related diseases.

The laboratory opening was also attended by Sally Sitou MP, Federal Member for Reid and The Hon. Mark Buttigieg MLC.
